National Organic Program Cloning and Organic Livestock Production

Cloning is not allowed in organic production.  A decision has not yet been made regarding the progeny of cloned parents.  Organic livestock and cloning questions started coming up in January of 2007 after the FDA announced its approval of a draft risk assessment of cloning as a production technique in agriculture.  Read more at: http://www.ams.usda.gov/AMSv1.0/getfile?dDocName=STELPRDC5088956
