The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) will be meeting again October 15-18, 2012. All public comments requests must be received by the NOSB by midnight Eastern Time on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.

The National Organic Standards Board reviews materials allowed for use in organic and made with organic production. In order to have an item added to the National List of Allowed Materials, it must be petitioned through the NOSB for review and approval.
